A mix of lomandra grasses, glossy coprosma and blue agapanthus give textural variety to the planting around the stairs to this mid fifties house. The contrast of the structural buxus balls and softer textures of the lomandra grass and Bergenia, with the punch of red from the geranium, create variety and visual interest in the planting beds near the back door.
